Music filled my childhood, from classical to rock. Piano, a failed violin phase, then guitar at fifteen—Hendrix and late-60s American artists lit the spark. Self-taught, I play by ear, from the heart, believing music connects, calms, and fuels creativity.
Birthed out of a Lonely Lady’s laundry overspill, GYM’s songs depict the bittersweet edges of domestic life, love, and the quiet loneliness of womanhood. She brings her womanly wit with a whimsical flair, full of fun yet raw emotion, to the stage!
She Brings the Rain are two versatile musicians from Harwich, Ruth and Jim, who play folk music at festivals and local events. Playing original songs, covering music they love and making it our own with great wit and talent, this is certainly not one to miss!
